When investigating hazardous and deleterious materials surveyors can provide practical guidance to the identification and treatment of problems associated with some types of building materials. Surveyors will be able to provide advice on the nature of the material, its normal use, problem areas, methods of diagnosis and analysis, and methods of repair.
