About Us
Hughes Jay and Panter is an established Chartered Surveying Practice that commenced trading in 1966 in West Sussex. In 1992, the company extended its operating base to the London area. This well established proven track record enables us to provide an effective Building Surveying and Property Consultancy service throughout the south east.
We work with a wide and varied client spectrum. This ranges from the private individual who may be purchasing, maintaining or altering their property, to Local Government, Health and Education Authorities, Housing Associations, Pension Funds, Property Companies with property portfolios and Legal Advisors reporting to Funding and Financial Institutions.
Whether they are individual units or part of an extensive property portfolio, buildings are valuable assets requiring professional management, costs associated with purchase, refurbishment and maintenance, which must always be carefully assessed. It is our job to reconcile these factors taking account the client's requirements.
HJP's approach is based on core Building Surveying skills founded on a thorough understanding of how buildings are put together. We provide a comprehensive service for any projects of any size from inception to completion.
