Tim Davies established his practice in 1998, providing independent professional surveying and valuation services throughout Cardiff and the South Wales area, and the UK.
Tim has over 35 years’ experience in the property and construction industry, working both in the UK and overseas. The practice is not tied to any banks, building societies or estate agents – it is entirely independent.
The practice is well established and since inception has never been subject to any form of claim for professional negligence or complaint. It has no adverse professional compliance history with the RICS (see RICS Regulation if required).
Tim is an experienced and well regarded practitioner who qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1988, and is also an RICS Accredited Expert Witness and RICS Accredited Valuer. Tim is one of the few Chartered Surveyors who holds the Cardiff University Diploma in both civil and criminal Expert Witness Practice. He is also registered as a forensic surveyor with the NCA (National Crime Agency) and provides assistance to UK wide Police forces and Council Trading Standards Officers investigating property related rogue trader crime/offences. Tim is a member of the Academy of Experts.
Tim is also an active and longstanding member of the Wales RICS and was formerly an external examiner with the College of Estate Management at Reading.
Tim provides advice/guidance to several media organisations, including BBC Wales consumer advice programme – X-Ray, on which he has appeared regularly over the last decade.
