About Us

At Teale Residential Surveying, we are a small, independent family firm specialising in surveys and valuations of residential property in Sheffield, South Yorkshire and Derbyshire. We are qualified, independent RICS surveyors with over 30 years of experience between us.

Unlike larger surveying firms, we only cover the local area and limit ourselves to just a few clients a week. This allows us to spend more time inspecting your property and producing reports to the highest of standards. At TRS, the client always comes first.

All of our Home Survey reports include annotated photographs of the most serious and important defects, as well as an additional post-report phone call to answer any further questions you may have.

We are not associated with any lenders or estate agents and offer completely impartial, expert advice at a reasonable price.

Many of our clients have reported back to us that they were successful in negotiating lower purchase prices after costly and necessary repairs were highlighted in their Home Survey report.
