About Us

Richard Russell Surveyors are a modern and responsive, independent surveying practice based in Solihull.

We offer a range of services, including Level 3 Building Surveys, Level 2 Home Surveys (formerly known as HomeBuyer Reports), Drone Surveys and RICS Valuations for various purposes, such as Help to Buy, Shared Ownership and Right to Buy.

Our objective is to provide a fresh approach to residential property surveying. The home buying process is complex and can be stressful for many. We aim to offer a responsive customer experience which simplifies obtaining a property survey and helps to reduce anxiety for our clients.

As well as embracing the latest in property surveying technology, we, perhaps more importantly, made the decision to regulate the number of new instructions we undertake at any given time. This allows us to spend more time on each job, enabling us to produce reports with clear, jargon-free language and illustrated with plenty of useful photographs. We also feel it is important to spend time talking to our clients before and after inspections and keeping them fully informed. We have a two working day turnaround on our survey reports and only one working day return on our valuation work.
