About Us
Early working environment at Harlow Development Corporation before working with Estate Agents and Surveyors in north London, Hertfordshire and Essex.
Opened a General Practice Estate Agents and Surveyor's office in Sawbridgeworth in 1979 with partner Andrew Bibbey trading as Gearing & Bibbey before expanding into Bishop's Stortford with a second office. Practise was then sold to Black Horse Agencies in 1989.
A new business opened in Bishop's Stortford in 1991 dealing in all aspects of Residential sales, lettings and professional matters including Building Surveys, House Buyers Report & Valuation, Surveys and Red Book Valuations.
In 1998 the residential agency of that business was sold to Haart Estate Agents and John Gearing continued to specialise in all aspects of Residential Property Consultancy and associated Professional Matters. After 30 years John retired from Bishops Stortford and moved into the Cambridgeshire countryside.
JG Property Consultants have a good broad experience in property matters generally and regard themselves as suitably qualified to advise and assist in most property matters and have experience in Court advocacy.
